The oil refinery converts 21 of the 24 grades of crude in the Saratov Region into 15 different petroleum products, such as car gasoline, aviation kerosene, diesel fuel, black oil, petroleum coke, and others. The plant completely satisfies the republic’s need for refined petroleum products with the export of 45% of its petroleum products.
The refinery is equipped with cutting-edge equipment such the ED-AV-6 unit for initial oil refining (which was put into service in 2014), a catalytic reforming unit from 2013, a gradual coking unit from 2015, and a catalytic cracker (2017). The three most important parts of the plant are the ED-AV-6 electric desalter, the fuel oil vacuum distiller, and the initial refining unit.

The Company’s facilities produce a variety of high-quality petroleum products and have state-of-the-art conversion and reforming capabilities. The Russian refineries outperform the typical Russian refinery in terms of engineering properties, output capacity, and efficiency metrics, while the company’s European plants are on par with their rivals and situated close to our main target markets.
A unique location for producing and transporting finished and intermediate goods including LPG, gasoline, diesel, and kerosene is the refinery and its international distribution center, which have direct access to the open sea and the European hinterland. The hub of petrochemical activity in Europe and the heart of the Dutch economy is the Port of Rotterdam.
